
Thaddius “Thad” Ratliff is a chemical manufacturing leader with more than 30 years of experience, progressing from lab analyst roles to senior director positions across sectors including cement and cellulose acetate tow. A graduate of Auburn University with a B.S. in Chemistry, he brings a strong scientific foundation and deep operational expertise to large-scale industrial environments.
Thad’s management philosophy centers on hands-on leadership, team engagement, safety, and rigorous environmental compliance. He consistently prioritizes quality and innovation over volume, driving sustainable improvements in productivity and process performance. As CTO and Co-Founder of Prime Resources, he leads the company’s technology strategy and has traveled internationally to evaluate emerging waste-to-fuel technologies, validating conversion rates, operational efficiency, and alignment with U.S. environmental standards. His diligence ensures Prime Resources partners only with technologies that meet its high bar for innovation, scalability, and environmental responsibility. Outside of work, Thad is active in his community, including volunteer involvement with the Theo Ratliff Activity Center.
